In accordance with Faculty Bylaws Article VI – Evaluation of Faculty, faculty evaluations are required annually. The Faculty Evaluation System allows faculty to be evaluated by their chair/institute executive director online. The faculty member provides information and comments; the evaluator adds comments and an evaluation value for each of the five areas consisting of Values, Competencies, Compliance, Goals and Overall. Evaluations are finalized via electronic signatures by the faculty member and chair/institute executive director.
Faculty Evaluation FY2016
It is time to begin the process of completing faculty evaluations for the current, 2016 fiscal year and to set goals for the next, 2017 fiscal year. The timeline for completion of all faculty evaluations, which includes all required signatures, is now through September 30, 2016. Your Dean, Chair, and/or Institute Executive Director may set their own deadlines in order to ensure that the evaluations are completed before the system closes on September 30, 2016.
As you will see with this year’s evaluation, your comments and suggestions do impact the evaluation process. Please continue to submit your feedback and questions/concerns via the “Feedback/Questions” button at the bottom of the Faculty Evaluation web app. You may also direct questions to HSC Office of the Provost (email@example.com).
Update your faculty profile
Prior to evaluation, faculty need to check your faculty profile for accuracy and ensure it is up to date.
