NOTICE: Enrolling Users in Canvas
Student, faculty, and teaching assistant (TA) user enrollments in Canvas are automated with information uploaded from the Registrar’s Office to Canvas. These automation processes take place a few times per day, but new enrollments may take up to 24 hours to be processed.
All requests to add students, faculty, and teaching assistants to a credit-bearing course must be sent to the Registrar’s Office first at firstname.lastname@example.org. This ensures that all the relevant parties on campus have the appropriate information about student and faculty enrollment in credit-bearing courses.
To add Teaching Assistants to a course, please follow the steps on the Teaching Assistants at UNTHSC page.
Throughout the semester you may see users added to your course in the Tutor role. These requests come from the Center for Academic Performance and are sent to the Center for Innovative Learning through the email@example.com email address.
At times you may need to enroll a person to your course as an Observer. In these cases, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the observer’s name, EUID, employee or student ID number, and email address.
