Chemical Safety

The Chemical Safety manual provides all UNT Health employees, students, and visitors with an institution-approved set of guidelines and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, use, and disposal of hazardous chemicals. “Hazardous chemicals” or “chemical” refers to an element, compound, or mixture of elements or compounds that are a physical or health hazard as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
