Soto, Elizabeth Elizabeth Soto
Enrollment Services Assistant
Elizabeth Soto (Liz) earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University. Before joining the Registrar’s Office in August 2015, Liz worked with Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region as a Program Coordinator. She has worked with a variety of student populations as a caseworker, family advocate and mentor. Elizabeth enjoys interacting and working with students, faculty and staff, and is passionate about seeing students accomplish their goals. She is committed to responding to the needs of individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations, and wants to ensure students can approach her with questions to find the resources they need to succeed.

Enrollment Services Assistant
Cynthia Hunter joined UNTHSC in 2010 as part of the Patient Services team of UNT Health. In 2014 she joined the Division of Student Affairs in the Office of the Registrar where she works to fulfill the Division’s mission of “Creating Solutions for a Healthier Community by Fostering Student Success.” She enjoys interacting and working with students, faculty, and staff on a daily basis. Her former career as a dispatcher has developed a desire to create an environment where communication is valued. Cynthia strives to make anyone who visits the Division of Student Affairs feel welcome with a smile while providing accurate and detailed information.

Enrollment Services Assistant
LaTarra “LT” Lewis earned her A.S. degree in Chemistry from Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She later on completed her Master of Healthcare Administration from Kaplan University and completed courses toward her Master of Business Administration as well.Before joining the Registrar’s Office in November 2014, LaTarra worked in Higher Education in the proprietary sector in which she excelled in many different roles, the latter being a Career Services Advisor. Her daily encounter with students of various backgrounds and socio-economic statuses fueled her desire to help others appreciate education and help them achieve their career goals.

Janice Villarreal received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.Before joining the Office of the Registrar at UNTHSC in 2010, Janice worked in the Office of the Registrar at TAMUCC starting in 2007. She has worked with a variety of student populations, including undergraduates and graduate students. Her current role focuses on conferring degrees, printing diplomas and certificates, USMLE and COMLEX board scores, program and plan changes, and other projects within the office. She enjoys helping students reach their academic and personal goals.

Emily Rhodes received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in classical guitar from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Science in Library & Information Science from the University of North Texas. Before joining the Office of the Registrar in 2012, Emily worked primarily in academic libraries. She enjoys the technical side of data management and has created several improvements to processes. She also aims to provide the highest level of customer service to all students, staff and faculty who utilize the resources provided by the Office of the Registrar.

Meagan Cross received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Midwestern State University and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington.Meagan has a diverse background in higher education, having also worked in Financial Aid, Academic Support, and International Student Services. She is responsible for federal enrollment reporting, assisting faculty and staff with data compilation, FERPA regulation enforcement, and maintaining our campus’ many Academic Calendars. While she has made several moves within the Division of Student Affairs over the years, focusing on the ability to positively impact a student’s experience here has always been her goal. As a first-generation college student, she strives to ensure students have all the resources they may need while navigating our campus, and that they see a smiling face along the way.

Randolph, A.J. A.J. Randolph
Executive Director of Enrollment Services and Registrar
A.J. Randolph earned his BBA in Marketing at the University of Texas at Tyler. He holds an MBA from the University of North Texas and is currently pursuing his PhD in Higher Education.A.J. began his career in Higher Education in the Registrar’s Office at UT Tyler in 2000. He joined the Health Science Center Medical School Admissions team in 2005 and then moved to the Office of the Registrar. During his ten years at UNTHSC he has brought a new level of innovation to the Office of the Registrar and Financial Aid Office and has served as the Executive Director of Enrollment Services since 2010. He took the additional role of Registrar in 2012. He serves on the Enrollment Services Efficiency Committee on the Council of Public University President’s and Chancellors as well as the Technology Committee for the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
