Purchasing

From pens and pencils to computers
and office equipment, UNTHSC uses lots of supplies and resources to
operate and educate our students. Through the Business Service Center,
departments are encouraged to purchase items and contract work by using
good faith practices. This can be through providing bid opportunities
to any and all vendors such as Historically Underutilized Businesses
(HUB). By encouraging diversity in the pool of vendors, we are promoting
both social and economic sustainability that strives for equitable
treatment of people and promotes competition to encourage a strong
economy (see UNT Purchasing Guidelines).
