New Student Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students.

Pre-Matriculation workshops are not required but are highly recommended for incoming clinical students. The full schedule, workshop descriptions, pricing and registration information can be found below.
Student Health Insurance
According to UNT Health Science Center policy, all students are required to obtain health insurance to be eligible to register. Insurance may be purchased from any insurance carrier. For your convenience special group plans are available to our students. For more information, please visit the link below.
The Health Science Center does not offer on-campus housing. Please visit our partner, GradRent, for more information on local housing opportunities.

You are invited! Welcome Week is scheduled after the last incoming student orientation in August. All students starting summer 2020 are invited to attend the events and activities scheduled for August 17-21.
White Coat Information
White Coat Ceremony is a “rite of passage” for our students that encourages a psychological contract for professionalism and empathy. It emphasizes the foundational mission of the institution: education, research, patient care and service.
All clinical students will receive a White Coat prior to the White Coat Ceremony. Information related to white coat sizing can be found below.
