Student ID Badges

Incoming TCOM & DPT Students: The link for submitting your ID badges will open soon.

Parking Information

If you plan to park on campus while attending classes at HSC, you will need a parking permit. Access to the parking permit portal will be available after receiving your ID badge at orientation. A parking permit is not required during New Student Orientation.

Office of Disability Access

If you need a disability accommodation to fully participate in New Student Orientation, please contact the Office of Disability Access at the link below.

Background Checks

New students in clinical programs (TCOM, PA, PT, System College of Pharmacy) are required to complete a criminal background check prior to New Student Orientation. You will receive an email from Certiphi/Application Station during the Summer that instructs you on how to complete the background check. Please do not attempt to complete the background check until you receive the email.  The average cost of a background check is $38.25. Please note, costs may vary depending on the state or previous state(s) you have lived in.

You will not have access to the site to submit your background check until you have been officially accepted.

CITI Training

The required CITI Training should be completed prior to orientation for the following programs (SBS, TCOM, PA & SPH). Please complete the Human Subjects Research course only.

Photo Release

New students are asked to sign a photo release either agreeing to or declining permission for the use of photographic pictures and/or videos they may appear in.

HIPAA Training

Students in the School of Biomedical Sciences are required to complete training prior to orientation. Access to the sites will be available two weeks prior to orientation.

International Students

Once an international student is accepted into a U.S. university, the school will send a Form I-20, which certifies the student is eligible to apply for an F-1 academic student visa. If you have already been offered admission into an HSC program, our office will guide you through the pre-arrival and orientation process. Follow the link below for more information.
