Pre-Matriculation

Student Health Insurance

According to HSC policy, all students who have in-person classes are required to obtain health insurance to be eligible to register. Insurance may be purchased from any insurance carrier. For your convenience, special group plans are available to our students. For more information, please visit the link below.

Housing

The Health Science Center does not offer on-campus housing. Please visit our partner, GradRent, for more information on local housing opportunities.

White Coat Information

The White Coat Ceremony is a “rite of passage” for our students that encourages a psychological contract for professionalism and empathy. It emphasizes the foundational mission of the institution: education, research, patient care and service.

All clinical students will receive a White Coat prior to the White Coat Ceremony. Information related to white coat sizing and the ceremony can be found below.
