Sponsored Programs Accounting Team
The Sponsored Programs Accounting team is comprised of two Senior Grant Financial Analysts and two Grant Accountants.
Our team is primarily responsible for requesting reimbursements back to the institution for externally funded sponsored research projects.
Types of funding we manage include federal, private, state and local grants and contracts. We manage drawing down funds from sponsor portals, preparing and submitting invoices through our new electronic billing module as well as financial reporting based on sponsor specific templates as required. We work in tandem with our colleagues in OSP along with the Principal Investigators and their respective departmental administrative support to reconcile and close sponsored research projects.
