Community engagement

NTERI is engaging with the community by conducting presentations, offering printed information about prevention of blindness and managing vision issues, participates in community events, and educates the public about the importance of vision and vision care. In addition, the Eyeglasses donation program is an initiative where, together with HSC Health and the Lions Club, we provide free glasses to those who cannot afford it both locally and internationally. These services bring together HSC faculty, staff, students, and trainees for the benefit of our community and raise awareness for vision-related care and diseases.
