Center for Health Policy
The Center for Health Policy (CHP) at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is part of the College of Public Health’s commitment to advancing evidence-based policy solutions that support healthier communities locally, nationally, and globally.
The Center engages in applied research, evaluation, and community partnerships to inform public policies that address the broad range of factors influencing individual and population health. Recognizing that many policies affecting health originate outside of traditional health sectors, the CHP works to bridge knowledge and practice to drive meaningful change.
Through education, research, and collaboration, the Center supports the development of students, faculty, practitioners, and community leaders who are equipped to translate scientific findings into effective policy and to advocate for systems that promote health and well-being for all.
