HSC Marketing & Communications is excited to launch Workamajig, a new project management system that will help the department streamline all campus web, marketing and communications requests. The goal of this new project management system is to increase communication between campus requestors and the Marketing & Communications staff about projects from start to finish. Project requesters never have to wonder about the status of their projects because Workamajig will notify them each time there is a status change.

Below are steps showing how to submit a project to Workamajig. Screenshots of the process are included at the end of the document.

 

  • Fill out and submit the form. When filling out this form, users will need to include the following information:
    • Step 1: Log in to Workamajig system. https://unthsc.workamajig.com/platinum/
      • (EUID and password)
    • Step 2: Select form (marketing or communication request, or web content request).
    • Step 3: Fill out your project details.
      • Name
      • Email
      • Project name
      • Project description
      • Due date
      • First draft due date
      • Description of project’s purpose
      • Target audience
      • Category (type of project you are requesting)
    • Step 4:
      • Attach any files necessary to complete the project.
    • Step 5:
    • Press the submit button.
    • Receive a response from the Marketing & Communications team about who is assigned to your project within one business day.

There is a way to notify users of their task as a reminder. Whichever tasks is assigned can be checked on the left-hand side. A menu at the top will display options in lime green. “Notify Users” will be an option. Once that is clicked, an email will be sent to the user.
