The HSC Center for Older Adults Community Advisory Council is a group of community volunteers who share their experience, ideas, and recommendations about how education programs for the health professions can positively impact healthcare and health outcomes for older adults. Their input is used to inform the development of quality instructional and informational materials for health professions education and training.
By sharing their experiences and perspective, advisors help make important changes in workforce development that can improve health care for older adults and family caregivers. In the process, advisors also have the opportunity to learn new information about education and research projects and health services offered by HSC Center for Older Adults.
