Valubility of the Month March 2022

Nominated by Dr. Jamboor Vishwanatha for Collaboration

The AIM-AHEAD team showed outstanding vision and collaboration in organizing the AIM-AHEAD Community Listening Convention last week that consisted of 6 different sessions. Each session was for a different stakeholder and included moderators and note takers from all across USA. The convention attracted nearly 1,000 registrants. The team met every day for a month to develop the program. We received numerous accolades on how well the team put together the event and how well organized it was. One example from a professor at Harvard Medical School: “VERY IMPRESSIVE detailed Agenda, Instructions, script! Whoa!!! I’ve never seen such preparation!!!! THANKS for all this HARD WORK!!!!” The audience included directors and program officers at NIH and numerous community organizations and academic institutions. The visibility of UNTHSC was significant in these events. The outcome from this convention is extremely important for the AIM-AHEAD program and is eagerly anticipated by NIH. This event could not have happened without the excellent teamwork, listening to ideas, valuing contributions of each team member and the creativity and vision.
