The Student Assistance Resource Center (SARC) has recognized that in order for students to be well and succeed academically, basic needs must be addressed. As a result, the Division of Student Affairs has established a food pantry on campus in an effort to assist HSC students impacted by food insecurity.

Please feel free to drop off any items you’d like to donate and items from our wish list in Room 180 of the Student Services Center. Additionally, items from our wish list can be shipped directly to the address listed on our registry. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
Any current HSC student in need can visit the HSC Food Pantry.

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

The use of the HSC Food Pantry does not require application or approval. It is available to any student in need, but please weigh and record everything taken. The Student Assistance Resource Center has established protocols that allow for student confidentiality and dignity to be maintained and respected.
Students who visit the food pantry can request to meet with a staff member to discuss any difficulties they may be facing by emailing sarc@unthsc.edu or simply asking to meet with a staff member from the Care Team. Students can also choose to email the Care Team to set up an appointment as well.
