Ordering Regalia

Regalia will be ordered through Herff Jones. All graduates participating in commencementwill receive keeper gowns (Doctoral students will also receive keeper tams).The website to place orders will be available the beginning of 2016.

Announcements, Rings, Diploma Frames

Class rings, announcements and diploma frames are available through Herff Jones. A portion of the proceeds comes back to UNT Health Science Center to help support Student Scholarships.

Cap and Gown Pick-Up

Graduate regalia will be available for pick-up 8:00am – 5:00pm the Monday – Wednesday of commencement week. If you are unable to come during the scheduled time, please send a representative. Gowns will not be available for pick-up on Thursday or Friday.

Ceremony

The doors to auditorium will open at 8:00am for graduates and guests. Graduates must be checked-in by 8:30am.

Graduates are responsible for bringing their regalia, including cap, gown, and hood. Extra caps, tassels, gowns and hoods will not be available at the ceremony site.

Professional attire is required. Shorts, sandals and low cut or short dresses are not appropriate. Decoration of caps is not permitted. Please be respectful of the importance of the ceremony and remember, this is family-friendly event.

Do not bring any personal items with you (ie. cell phones, purses). There will be no area for those items to be left. UNTHSC will not be responsible for any lost/stolen items.

Under NO circumstance are food, drinks, balloons, confetti, silly string, glitter, or any spray materials allowed in the auditorium. This violates our contact with the venue and those involved will be subject to penalty.

Parking

Parking is available throughout TCU’s campus. More information will be posted once traffic plans are finalized.

Seating

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask that guests refrain from saving seats in order to accommodate everyone’s family. In addition, limited wheelchair accessible seating is available.

Diplomas

Diplomas will be available for pick-up following the ceremony.
