COVID-19 FAQs

I’m waiting on my COVID test result. Can I still come to campus?

  • If you’ve been exposed to someone who is known to be COVID positive or have symptoms of COVID and are waiting on a COVID test result, you should isolate and not return to campus until you receive a negative test result and/or are symptom free per the exposure and symptom algorithm.

Can I take my mask off if my chair is 6 feet away from others?

  • Masking is required while you are on campus in any shared or common space. The exception to this is while eating and/or drinking.

Is it okay to be gathering with others if I wear my mask?

  • Masking is an essential component of the health and safety protocol when coming into contact with others on and off campus. However, the safest approach is to incorporate all of these together: frequent handwashing AND proper masking AND physical distancing of 6+ feet.
