Parking construction

Construction will begin soon to add another deck to Garage 5, increasing campus parking capacity by creating 200 additional spaces. The garage, located between Clifton Drive and the Center for BioHealth and adjacent to the new Interdisciplinary Research and Education Building, will also receive a new façade.

Heavy parking days

There are several days throughout the year when there may be fewer parking spaces available because of events or activities on campus. Please consider these days when you are planning your trips to campus.

New parking rates effective Sept. 1, 2018

Buy a parking permit

Parking permits are available for purchase online. You may access this site to purchase your permit.

Online payment options include credit and debit cards. Permits purchased online will be mailed to the registrant’s preferred address. Please print your receipt to use as a temporary permit until the actual permit is mailed to you.

In-person payment options include cash, check, credit and debit cards. Permits will be issued upon purchase in the lobby.

Everyone will need to renew their permit annually, updating or confirming their vehicle information, whether they use the lobby service or online service. All outstanding parking citations must be paid before obtaining a new parking permit. Fines may be paid in the Parking Office Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The UNT Health Science Center Parking Office has partnered with UNT Denton Parking & Transportation Services to offer online permit sales through UNT Denton’s payment portal.

Anyone with questions may contact the Parking Office at (817) 735-2211 or email parking@unthsc.edu.

The parking office is coordinated by Shanika Covington.

The ‘Police Visitor‘ parking spaces are available for Police Department business only. Once your business is complete, you must vacate the space. There is no permit required for these visitor spaces, but you must be conducting business within the Police Department. You may NOT leave your vehicle parked in these spaces once you have left the Police Department.

Law enforcement services are provided by the Police Department.
