ABOUT US:

JPS Health Network continues to serve the needs of the families in Tarrant County, working to improve health status and access to health care. The facilities on Main Street have grown to a hospital licensed for 573 beds that is attached to a Patient Care Pavilion – a five-story acute care facility, along with an outpatient care center and a dedicated facility for psychiatric services.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Geriatric Early Mobility (GEM) Project – JPS Geriatric Delirium Program 

Project Purpose:

  • To implement interventions to promote early, safe mobility in older hospitalized patients to address cognitive and functional decline, fall prevalence, and length of stay.
  • To improve the JPS older adult mobility culture.
