Limb Loss Flyer

Individuals with Lower-Limb Loss Needed

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is doing a research study to understand walking symmetry and fall risk in individuals with limb loss.

You are invited to participate if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are 18 – 95 years old
  • You have been walking on your prosthesis for at least one year
  • You have limb loss on only ONE of your legs between your ankle and hip
  • You can walk independently without using an assistive device for at least 5 minutes or 100 yards

Limb Loss Terminology Survey

The University of North Texas Health Science Center is interested in learning what terms people in the limb loss community prefer to use to refer to this population and to their limbs. This survey is anonymous & should take less than 20 mins to complete.

You are invited to participate if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are a person with limb loss or a difference
  • You are a researcher or healthcare professional of this population
  • You are located in the U.S.?
