Virtually every major airline in the United States flies into DFW International Airport. For those who are traveling within the state, additional air travel is available through Dallas Love Field.

1. Make your appointment before setting any airline reservations.
2. If you are traveling by air to Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport, it will take you approximately one hour by car to reach the campus. If you are flying into Love Field Airport, it will take approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Please budget for this time when planning your visit.

If you fly to the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, we suggest that you rent a car at the airport. Taxi fare from DFW is approximately $45-$60 for one way. Taxi fare from Love Field is approximately $60-$75 one way and taxi service from UNTHSC is unreliable. In addition, there are two shuttle services you may want to consider:

Airporter Bus Service will take you to and from the DFW airport from downtown Fort Worth hotels. From there, you will have to take a taxi to campus. For more information about the Airporter, call 817.334.0092 or visit their web site: http://www.the-t.com.
