Summer Multicultural Advancement Research Training Application
Application for SMART, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, addresses the significant gap in the number of underrepresented minority groups, disadvantaged populations and individuals with disabilities that enter biomedical and behavioral science careers. This program will provide undergraduate students interested in pursuing biomedical sciences related research, a 10-week summer research experience in a mentor-guided laboratory and workshops to enhance their academic and career development.
