UNTHSC honored for partnerships with Fort Worth ISD

The UNT Health Science Center has received the Fort Worth Independent School District’s (FWISD) Golden Achievement Award for Partnership Excellence for the seventh consecutive year.  The award recognizes the Health Science Center for providing programs and resources to support the academic achievement of FWISD students.

Each year, the Health Science Center hosts several programs that invite FWISD students to campus to learn about the health sciences. The Health Science Center also participates in tutoring and mentoring programs with FWISD students including Project SCORE and the UNTHSC Go Centers.
