Michael Connors elected president of the Texas Physical Therapy Association

Michael Connors, PT, DPT, OCS, is the new president-elect of the Texas Physical Therapy Association. He will begin his three-year term as president in 2014.

The mission of the Texas Physical Therapy Association is to optimize the health and well-being of people in Texas by advancing physical therapist practice.

"I am humbled to serve my profession in the capacity of TPTA president," Connors said. "I look forward to addressing the opportunities and challenges facing the physical therapy profession in Texas in the coming years."

Connors practices in the Patient Care Center on the UNT Health Science Center main campus. He has been involved in a myriad of professional and community service activities around the country and locally in North Texas.
