Madison appointed executive director
In her new role, Madison will be responsible for implementation and daily oversight of the UNT Health Compliance Program, Health Information Management (HIM)department and the electronic medical record project. She will continue as the UNTHSC institutional privacy officer, responding to investigations and working with internal and external agencies regarding compliance and HIM matters.
Madison, who is a registered nurse and attorney, previously worked for Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center and the former Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas. She is certified in healthcare compliance and as a certified coder, and has been with UNTHSC since 2004 as director of regulatory compliance and institutional privacy officer.
