HSC honored with Institutional Investor Award at DEC’s State of Entrepreneurship

New Logo Hsc Install On February 16th On Ead Building.The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth’s innovation wing, HSC Next, was recently named the Institutional Investor of the Year at The Dallas Entrepreneur Center’s State of Entrepreneurship, presented by Bank of America. This recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and its significant impact on the dynamic biotech, life sciences and startup ecosystems in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

The DEC’s annual State of Entrepreneurship is a yearly event that celebrates the achievements of those shaping the DFW entrepreneurial landscape. This year’s event was focused on the resilience, dedication and innovative spirit of people and institutions leaving a lasting mark on the local startup community.

“We’re humbled and honored that HSC has been recognized for its work with innovators in the community,” said Kendel Rogers, outreach specialist for HSC Next. “The teams here at HSC are doing such great work innovating and solving some of health care’s biggest challenges.”

HSC Next helps innovators and entrepreneurs be more successful. This team brings knowledge, experience and resources to foster innovation and connect collaborators. They focus on two main initiatives: filling the innovation pipeline and building a more robust innovation ecosystem around Fort Worth.

This award is a testament to HSC Next’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, driving groundbreaking research, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the region. The institution’s innovative initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and forward-thinking approach has positioned it as a key player in advancing biotechnology and life sciences research within North Texas.
