Robyn Remotigue elected as Secretary for the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA)

Remotigue will serve a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2022.

In this position, Remotigue will serve on the NCURA Board of Directors and as a member of the organization’s Executive Committee.

Founded in 1959, NCURA is a nonprofit professional society dedicated to advancing research administration through education and professional development programs, the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and the fostering of a diverse, collegial and respected global community.

With more than 7,500 members representing over 1,100 colleges, universities, teaching hospitals and research institutes in 40 countries, NCURA is actively involved in furthering communication and understanding between research administrators both within and outside the United States.

Remotigue has been a member of NCURA for nearly 20 years.

She has previously served on the Board of Directors and was Co-Chair for the organization’s 60th Annual Meeting and 2016 Pre-Award Research Administration Conference.

In addition to other past conference program committees, she has also been a member of the NCURA Education Scholarship Fund Select Committee, the Nominating and Leadership Development Committee, and has served on many regional committees.

Remotigue was presented with the organization’s Julia Jacobsen Distinguished Service Award in 2018 and is a graduate of both NCURA’s Executive Leadership Program and Leadership Development Institute.

She is currently an NCURA Magazine Co-Editor, NCURA Peer Reviewer and faculty member for the Level II: Sponsored Projects Administration Workshop.
