Flow Cytometry Core adding more FlowJo licenses

The Flow Cytometry Core is adding additional FlowJo licenses to accommodate the increased demand for the software.

FlowJo is a widely used software application for analyzing flow cytometry data, and the increase in demand for the software at the Core highlights the growing importance of flow cytometry in modern biomedical research. The additional licenses will ensure that resources are available for all researchers who need them, thus providing more researchers access to the software at the same time, allowing better productivity and sharing of resources.

New data storage and backup solution in Core Labs

Core Labs with the help from IT has implemented a new cloud storage system for backup and data transfer. This system will allow researchers to store and share large amounts of data securely, while also providing robust backup and recovery capabilities. One of the major benefits of the new cloud storage system is its ability to handle extremely large datasets. This will be particularly useful for Core Labs' researchers who often work with large amounts of data generated in Genomics and Pre-clinical Imaging Cores.
