Learn about caring for older adults

UNT Health Clinical Practice Group Center for Older Adults provides free continuing education in geriatrics for health care professionals including physicians, physician assistants, nurses, CNAs, social workers, physical therapists and other disciplines.

Self-paced online learning modules cover essential topics in caring for older adults, such as age-friendly and dementia-friendly care, medication, mobility and annual wellness visits, and fostering teamwork among professionals in clinics, hospitals and nursing homes. The online courses incorporate the expertise of University and community partners and numerous experts in their fields.

Medical staff  in various disciplines and career stages may earn free continuing education credit, while students, uncredentialed care staff and other interested parties may request a certificate of completion.
