Dr. Francesco Cerritelli to Present 2023 Goldstein Lecture November 2

The Osteopathic Research Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Francesco Cerritelli will present the 2023 Goldstein Lecture, entitled “The Brain-Body Interaction in the Context of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine” on Thursday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time.

FcerritelliDr. Cerritelli is President of the C.O.ME. Collaboration non-profit research foundation and a research fellow at the Australian Research Center in Complementary & Integrative

Medicine (ARCCIM) at the University of Technology Sidney. He has a broad interest in osteopathic research, in the study of neurobiological mechanisms of touch, in the study of the role of placebo in manual medicines, and the analysis of the effects of new therapies in health systems focusing on the interdisciplinary aspects of evidence-based medicine. He directs many multidisciplinary research groups in Italy and abroad to innovate and produce robust scientific evidence in complementary therapies. He has authored numerous scientific publications and monographs. Since 2005, he has been engaged in osteopathic clinical activity.
