Located at 6913 Camp Bowie Boulevard, Suite 175, HSC Physical Health is an innovative space where HSC’s School of Health Professions provides ForeverFit exercise programming for cancer patients and survivors, no-cost physical therapy services, dedicated physical therapy research space, and opportunity for innovation and collaboration.
No-Cost Physical Therapy
We are proud to now offer no-cost physical therapy examinations and intervention to adults in our community! We welcome individuals post-rehab or acute hospitalization.

Your Physical Therapy Provider
Patients are treated by HSC physical therapy faculty who are board-certified clinical specialists in geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic physical therapy.
How to Schedule
We are accepting new patients! For physical therapy services, you or your provider can call 817-735-0550 or email HSCPhysicalHealth@unthsc.edu with your name and phone number and a patient services representative will call you to schedule.
ForeverFit
ForeverFit provides individualized, structured and supervised fitness programming specifically for cancer patients. Exercise Specialists work directly with each patient to prescribe appropriate exercises based on their diagnosis, treatment and recovery status.
Exercise training includes cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, balance, range of motion, and flexibility. Monitoring metrics before exercise (pulse oximetry, blood pressure, heart rate, heart rate recovery, RPE) ensures a safe environment for patients.
Eligibility
Anyone with a current or previous cancer diagnosis is eligible for ForeverFit. A physician referral by the patient’s primary physician or oncologist is required.

Other Services for ForeverFit Patients
Cuisine for Healing
After a session, cancer patients can continue to stay on a healthy course by picking up nutritious meals. The Cuisine for Healing Outreach Food Program is providing free meals designed to bolster the immune system, clear the body of toxins and help the person recover faster. The program is offering ForeverFit clients 20% of all the meals they order from Cuisine for Healing and are provided free delivery. However, if a patient is 150% below the federal poverty index, they qualify for Cuisine for Healing’s Medically Referred program and may be eligible for free meals.
Shine Therapy
Shine Therapy will offer oncology massage, which has been shown to ease the emotional and physical stress of treatment and recovery. Oncology massage therapists have been trained to understand the body changes caused by chemotherapy, radiation and surgery, and are sensitive to cancer survivor’s needs.
