Kylie Jones earns AHA award for poster presentation

Kylie Jones, a master’s student in SBS, presented a poster at the national American Hypertension Association conference that showcased her research on mitochondria in the brain related to hypertension. She competed against master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral students during this session and was selected as one of 20 awardees in a 135-poster showcase for a Trainee Advocacy Poster Award. The award helps her highlight her lab’s research in hypertension.
