Discovery Centers Access

In order to gain access to the Discovery Centers in CBH 201 and RES 208, please submit the information listed below to Katrina Gordon, Discovery Center (DC) Manager. Upon receipt and review of this information, you will receive an email with the names of authorized users permitted to access the laboratories.

Completed the Faculty Research Form.
Have provided proof of successful completion of UNT Health Science Center Basic Biosafety Training, Hazard Communication Training and Bloodborne Pathogen Training for each authorized user as needed to DC manager

Client Checklist*

Completed the Client Research Form.
Review safety materials and completion of the safety quiz by each authorized user. (Contact DC Manager, katrina.gordon@unthsc.edu for this information).
If leasing dedicated lab space, signed lease agreement.
Signed Facilities Use Agreement.
Signed Release and Indemnification Agreements from each authorized user.

Policies

Every person gaining access to the Discovery Center will need to sign and complete a policies form, indicating that UNTHSC Policies and Procedures will be adhered to.
