Trevino named chief of staff

Jennifer Treviño has been named chief of staff at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, announced UNTHSC President Scott Ransom.  Treviño will provide general administrative support for the president and serve as the supervisor for all employees in the Office of the President. As a strategic leader, she will be instrumental in developing and executing the UNT Health Science Center’s strategic business plan. 

Treviño joined the UNT Health Science Center in 2007 as administrative director of the Health Institutes of Texas.  She most recently served as acting chief of staff.   

A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, she earned her Master of Business Administration from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.  Treviño formerly worked for RadioShack Corp.  

An active member of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network, Treviño mentors students in the Latinas in Progress program, and raises funds for the annual art show and silent auction. She serves on the Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County Board of Directors.
