HSC at Fort Worth
After a successful youth summit in Feb. 2023, The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and Black Men in White Coats are excited to partner again. Please join us as we welcome 500 underrepresented minority students, parents, educators, health care professionals and community leaders to the HSC campus for the BMWCx Youth Summit on Feb.10, 2024.
Established in 2013, BMWCx aims to encourage and equip youth (boys & girls) from diverse backgrounds to pursue careers in medicine. BMWCx Youth Summits are locally organized events that bring health care professionals together to educate students, parents, teachers, and community leaders on what it takes to become a medical professional.

BMWC Session 1
Session 1 includes the performance by The BoykinZ Sisters, a welcome from TCOM Dean, Dr. Edwards (first black graduate from TCOM), address from Dr. Trent Adams) and Dr. Dale’s Keynote address.
