Assistant Professor
As a registered nurse, public health educator and researcher, Fair has more than 15 years of experience in clinical, community, and academic settings. As an early career nurse, she pursued a public health focused career after witnessing the devastating effects of chronic medical conditions on patients and their families, especially among uninsured and vulnerable populations. Dr. Fair’s research and practice interests include increasing the capacity of heath care systems and organizations to effectively deliver health promotion strategies that address the social determinants of health and promote health equity.
