Bobbie Bratton, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Assistant Professor & SaferCare Clinical Executive

Bratton is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with 25 years of nursing experience and 20+ years of advanced practice. She has a diverse clinical background including family practice, occupational health, student health, acute care, surgery and ambulatory clinic management. Bratton is a clinical executive with Safercare Texas, home of HSC’s patient safety organization and community outreach initiatives for safety and quality in healthcare. As an assistant professor, she contributes to student education in the College of Nursing and across HSC programs.

Her goal in practice is to partner with patients providing guidance toward health decisions that are safe, promote optimal quality of life and focus on whole person health. Her goal in education is to foster a collaborative partnership with students to shape their academic journeys toward becoming competent, compassionate and resilient healthcare professionals.
