Graduate Studies Finance Administration
The Graduate Studies Finance and Administration team supports the financial infrastructure of graduate research training at UNT Health. Operating under the Research Finance and Administration unit within the Division of Research and Innovation (DRI), our team partners closely with the Office of Graduate Studies, colleges, departments, and principal investigators to ensure timely, compliant, and equitable funding for graduate students and the integrity of research funding processes.
Through strategic financial planning, tracking, and operational coordination for PhD programs, we champion student-centered solutions and foster collaborative partnerships that reflect our core values of Courageous Integrity, Be Curious, We Care, Better Together and Show Your Fire.

Stipend Support
Full-time PhD students are eligible to receive a competitive annual stipend of $35,004, typically through graduate research or teaching assistantship positions. These appointments must meet program- and college-level criteria and reflect the student’s academic and research engagement.
