Genomics Core acquiring new single-cell technologies

Genomics Core is excited to announce the upcoming arrival of Chromium X Series and Visium CytAssist from 10x genomics. These cutting-edge platforms will provide researchers with powerful new tools for single-cell genomics and spatial transcriptomics research.

The Chromium X Series is a powerful single-cell genomics platform that allows for the simultaneous profiling of up to 100,000 cells per run, at a high resolution. This technology allows for the analysis of a wide range of cell types and will enable researchers to uncover new insights into complex biological systems.

Visium CytAssist is a spatial transcriptomics platform that allows for the simultaneous analysis of both the genomic and spatial information of cells within a tissue sample. This will allow researchers to study the gene expression patterns of individual cells within the context of their spatial organization in tissue, providing new insights into cell biology, tissue development, and disease.

The addition of these platforms to the Genomics Core will provide researchers with the ability to generate and analyze large-scale, high-resolution datasets at an unprecedented scale, enabling new breakthroughs in genomics research.

Researchers will have access to the Chromium X Series and Visium CytAssist for their experiments as soon as mid-Feb 2023.
