A new Histology Core Lab is set to open by end of January 2023, providing HSC researchers and external clients with a state-of-the-art resource for processing and analyzing tissue samples. The Core will be equipped with the latest technology, including an automated slide scanner, tissue processor, and a variety of staining and imaging techniques.
Aside from having access to a wide range of services, including tissue embedding, sectioning, staining, and imaging, the Core will have the ability to perform a variety of special stains and immunohistochemical (IHC) analyses. All the services and resources available in the Core will be listed in the iLab platform under the Microscopy Core service request tab for now. The Core will also have the capability to train researchers.
