The Office of Wellness Services is pleased to invite you to Understanding Pain, Opioids, & Addiction, on Nov. 9 from 12-1pm in MET 124.
Dr. Donald Teater will be delivering the presentation via Skype. Additionally, here are the objectives:
1. Understand the dangers of opioids used for pain.
2. Understand why emotional trauma increases the risk of abuse and addiction to opioids.
3. Understand the relative effectiveness of different treatments for acute and chronic pain.
