Does someone you know live our Values in an extraordinary way?

Honor that person with a nomination for Valubility of the Year!

Nominations are open through Friday, Oct. 20.

And save the date for our Valubility of the Year Celebration at noon on Thursday, Dec. 7 in MET 109.

Here is the nomination form: https://forms.unthsc.edu/view.php?id=91176

Please note: Valubility of the Month honorees are not automatically nominated for Valubility of the Year. If you know of a Valubility of the Month honoree who should be considered for the annual honor, please nominate them.

Nominees should be team members or students who represent us at our best and who stand out as the kind of person who always goes that extra mile.

Look for people who:
  • Not only live the Values in extraordinary ways, they inspire others to do the same and have taken a leadership role to influence our culture with Extraordinary Teamwork
  • Consistently exceed our Values in their everyday lives and in interaction with others
  • Are a vocal ambassador for our Values-based culture.

Not sure who fits the criteria? Need ideas about what qualities to look for? Look no further than last year’s five honorees for inspiration — Brandie Wiley, Emily Mire, Patricia Gwirtz, Chrystyna Senkel, and Emily Spence-Almaguer. Each in their own unique way illustrates what it means to live our Values. See more about them: https://www.unthsc.edu/values/valubility-year-2016/

Here’s how the honorees are chosen:
  • A representative voting committee will read through all nominations and make final recommendations to the President’s Cabinet
  • Names and departments will be removed from all nominations during deliberations
  • The President’s Cabinet will make final selections based on recommendations by the committee.
