Women’s Cardiovascular and Brain Health Symposium – Registration Open until 2/11/2019

The Women’s Cardiovascular and Brain Health symposium organized by the Department of Physiology & Anatomy will be held on February 22, 2019. In brief, this is a half day symposium starting with breakfast and poster set-up at 8:00 am, continuing with our guest speakers and student presentations, and finishing with the keynote speaker. Lunch will be provided after the last talk. The following leading experts have agreed to participate as our guest and keynote speakers:

Guest speaker: Qi Fu, MD, PhD – Associate Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, UT Southwestern Medical Center
Guest speaker: Michael Nelson, PhD – Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology, University of Texas Arlington
Keynote speaker: Jane Reckelhoff, PhD – Billy S. Guyton Distinguished Professor, Chair, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Director, Women’s Health Research Center, University of Mississippi Medical Center
