Seminar : Gimme the G.I.S.T | February 20 | 12-1PM, CBH-220
February 19, 2018

GSA would like to invite you to “Gimme the G.I.S.T.” Gimme the G.I.S.T, formerly known as GSBS Wide-WIPs is a platform for GSBS students, post-docs, faculty and staff to interact and promote awareness in different research areas. The purpose of the GIST is to 1) promote awareness of the variety of research conducted by students and postdoctoral fellows, 2) showcase novel/innovative/state-of-the-art techniques and methodologies used on our campus, and 3) promote a culture of fellowship and support or good citizenship. This opportunity provides students the experience of presenting their science to an audience that is “science-savvy” without being content experts. It also allows for awareness of scientific capabilities to foster further dialog and potential collaborations.

The seminar will be held on February 20, Tuesday 12-1 PM in CBH 220. The session will host two presenters, wherein each presenter will give a 15-20 min presentation followed by 5-10 min Q&A. We are proud to host-

Supervised Classification of CYP2D6 Metabolizer Phenotype using Tramadol-Exposed Finns
&
