Robert J. Hardin Awards for Outstanding Achievement in

Translational Cardiovascular Research

With support from the Robert J. Hardin Research Endowment, the Department of Physiology and Anatomy and School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science (HSC) will select recipients for outstanding achievements in translational cardiovascular research for 1 DO or PhD student ($1,500 award) and 1 MS student ($1,000 award) for the 2024 academic year.

HSC students admitted into the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), Public Health (SPH), Pharmacy (SCOP), or Medicine (TCOM) are encouraged to submit the application below highlighting their achievements in cardiovascular research to Dr. Johnathan Tune (johnathan.tune@unthsc.edu) by April 5, 2024. Applications received by this deadline will be evaluated based on the collective achievements provided in this document. Awardees will be selected by independent committee of 3 HSC faculty and announcements of awardees made by April 26th. Recipients will be invited to give a presentation of their research at the upcoming Robert J. Hardin Translational Cardiovascular Research Symposium to be held later this year.
