Each year, the Institute for Health Disparities (IHD) brings undergraduate students from across the United States to participate in a 10-week research experience (the Summer Undergraduate Research Internship Program, or SRIP) with one of our HSC faculty. To culminate their experience, students prepare a poster presentation of the research conducted over the course of their program.
That’s where you come in! We need HSC students to act as judges for our SRIP Research Appreciation Day (RAD). There will be about 45 posters, and we would like to have 3 judges per poster.
If you’re interested in participating as a judge, please contact Pat Baker (pat.baker@unthsc.edu) by Friday, July 7. The SRIP Poster Presentation will be held Thursday, July 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the EAD Atrium.
