The Schetz laboratory is currently recruiting students for multiple actively funded NIH, industry and foundation grant projects focusing on discovery and development of novel therapeutics and disease prevention agents including those related to 1) facilitating recovery from stroke, 2) preventing or slowing the progression Alzheimer’s disease, 3) development of a new generation of insect repellents to prevent the spread of vector-borne infectious diseases, 4) other biotechnology projects
