HSC’s 1st Interprofessional Student Team Heading to the National Case Competition

In January, the Department of IPEP was able to gather a select few students to attend the 2-day Clarion National Case Competition at the University of Minnesota. This annual event is a student-led, faculty-advised competition and conference. https://www.chip.umn.edu/clarion/national-case-competition

The students representing HSC are: Folasade Fashina, Haley McKeefer, Zachary Olsen, and Mira Sankhavaram.

For the past three months they have worked together to create a solution to a complex public health crisis, and this weekend, will present their solution to an esteemed panel of judges. They will compete with other interprofessional student teams from universities and institutions from all across the nation. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning with competitors, all in the spirit of advancing interprofessional practice.

We can’t wait to see what they learn and accomplish! Please send them your well wishes for a successful weekend!
