Facilities Management/Office of Sustainability will replace three ultra-low temperature freezers on campus with more energy-efficient ones.
To apply for a freezer replacement (free of charge), the following requirements must be met:
• The freezer being replaced must be located on campus or in a space owned by the university.
• The new freezer must be replacing a ULT freezer that is at least 10 years old.
• The lab will be required to participate in the Lab Efficiency Action Program (LEAP). More information about LEAP can be found here.
