UNTHSC Team,
Laurie Clouse, Chief of Police, accepted a position with Texas State University and her last day at the UNT Health Science Center is effective Jan. 25, 2019. Chief Clouse came to UNTHSC 11 years ago after nearly 7 years at the UNT Denton Police Department.
Police Captain Jeff Arrington will serve as Interim Police Chief beginning Feb. 1. Before arriving at the Health Science Center in 2015, Capt. Arrington worked for the UNT Police Department, Denton ISD, and Denton County.
We will conduct a search for a permanent Chief of Police.
